Ease into one of our many glamorous BlackJack tables. You can play alone at an exclusive Private table or perhaps you would prefer to be more social with 3 guests playing simultaneously at a Public table. Alternatively, why not amaze your friends (up to 3) with your cunning BlackJack strategy at a Group table. Guests wishing to play at the same table must enter the same "Group Name" in the "Group Table" field.
The aim of BlackJack is to reach 21, without going over. The guests and the dealer are each dealt two cards, The guest may draw as many cards as they wish, until reaching 21. A guest loses the hand by drawing a card that pushes their hand total over 21, this is referred to as a “Bust”. A winning hand adds up to more than the dealer's hand, without "Busting".
ReefClub Casino’s Classic BlackJack has a dealer and one to three guests. The dealer deals from a shoe containing four decks of playing cards. Guests place their bets prior to the deal, by clicking on either the 1 chip, 5 chip, 25 chip or the 100 chip, to reach the desired bet. Following this, the guest must click the "Deal" button in order to proceed with the hand. After all guests have placed their bets and clicked “Deal”, the round may commence.. Public and Group Tables differ slightly in that the game only proceeds once the 30 seconds default time limit has expired.
Guests may not change their bets after the deal has begun. During the course of the hand guests may add to their bets through Double Downs, Splits, and Insurance., Guests are offered the appropriate option after the cards have been dealt. Buttons, located on the lower centre of the screen, will appear in order to facilitate the guest's desired action. For example, if it is possible to split two cards a button will appear allowing the guest to do so. The guest must simply click on the "Split" button in order to split.
Each guest receives two cards, face up, and the dealer receives one card, face up. Guests are able to request as many additional cards as they wish, until they choose to "Stand" or "Bust". If a guest is dealt a Classic BlackJack, (a 10 or face card along with an Ace), they are immediately awarded 1.5 times the placed bet. The only exception to this rule is if the dealer also gets a Classic BlackJack, rendering the hand a "Push" (the guest's bet left on the table).
The dealer only completes his hand after all guests' bets have been completed.. If the dealer has sixteen or less, they must draw a card (Hit), until they reach seventeen or more. If the dealer's card total exceeds 21 (Bust), they must pay all guests remaining in the hand.
“Hit”: The term used to request another card.
“Stand”: Also known as “Stick” or “Stay”, this refers to a guest refusing to take any more cards.
“Bust”: When a guest’s hand exceeds the total of 21, consequently losing the hand.
"Push": A Push refers to when the dealer and the guest have the same numerical count in their hands. In this event the play is a draw, and the guests bet remains on the table.
"Double Down": The "Double" option is available to a guest once two cards have been dealt. The Double option automatically doubles the guest's bet and deals one additional card, face up. The guest is not permitted draw any further cards. The guest may double down on any first dealt two cards or after splitting a pair.
"Split": Allows the guest to split their cards into two separate hands. This is possible if they are dealt any pair of cards, on the first two cards (i.e., two Fives, two Jacks, etc.). Following a split, an additional bet equal to the original wager, is automatically placed. Each hand is then played independently, and the guest may take as many Hits as desired on each hand (with the exception of Aces, which receive one additional card only, per hand). In the case of split Aces, a guest's Classic BlackJack is not possible and is regarded as a regular 21.
In this instance, a dealer's Classic BlackJack wins, and a dealer's 21 becomes a "Push".
"Insurance": If the dealer shows an Ace, the guest has the option of making an "Insurance Bet". This equals half the original bet, and ensures that the guest will not lose their wager should the dealer be concealing a 10 or face card under their Ace. If, in fact, the dealer's down card is equal to 10, the guest wins the Insurance Bet at odds of 2-1. If the dealer's down card has a value of less than 10, the guest loses the Insurance Bet and continues normally with the hand.
If a guest fails to place a bet within the set default time limit, they will be automatically excluded from the hand. If a guest places a bet, but fails to click the "Deal" button within the set default time limit, two cards will be dealt to them automatically and the hand will continue. In the event that the guest is unable to click the "Deal" button due to a disconnection, disconnection rules apply.
